PRESTORUS was established in 1998 and since then has become the largest CIS multibusiness engineering company with solid experience in development, production and practical use of modern geosynthetic materials.

PRESTORUS's focus on development of innovative solutions in the field of geosynthetics has allowed us to become a leader of the industry. We aim to create new materials and improve existing products, thus our team includes a full Research and Development Department and a Quality Control department. Since PRESTORUS has always conducted research in the field of development and implementation of innovative products, we are now the owners of 30 patents on inventions and utility models and have the rights on 16 registered trademarks.

PRESTORUS is a member of the professional association - International Geosynthetic Society (IGS) - that is dedicated to the scientific and engineering development of geotextiles, geomembranes, related products and associated technologies.

PRESTORUS also meets the following governmental approvals and testing procedures:

  • ISO 9001: 2008 certified in respect of development, production, wholesale, integrated supply of geosynthetic materials and their component

PRESTORUS specializes in production of three-dimensional polymer cells (geocells) - also known as cellular confinement systems - that are widely used in road and railroad construction, in retaining walls and slope protection systems construction, in protection of pipelines and channels, in oilfield construction and site development, in parking areas development, landscaping, cottage construction and others.

Cellular confinement systems are of the strongest structural shapes in both natural and manmade structures. It is a strong, lightweight, three-dimensional structure made of polymeric tapes (high density polyethylene (HDPE) or its components) typically interconnected with each other by linear seams in a staggered order.

The structure of cellular confinement systems - expanded on-site to form a honeycomb-like structure - operates as a semi-stiffened plate that redistributes load, resulting in increased both structural strength and service life. Solutions considering geocells as a solution for any civil engineering/geotechnical issue always prove to be cost-effective with reduced and economic usage of valuable natural resources.

Innovative Geocells

PRESTORUS has always focused on improvement of quality, performance, reliability, efficiency and durability of the products. Now the company is the owner of innovative geosynthetic materials - reinforced three-dimensional cell GEOCORD™ and weld-free three- dimensional cell GEOSTEP™ - which do not have analogues in the world and are protected by international patents.

The use of scientific and technological solutions of PRESTORUS will enable customers to increase both strength properties and life time of the constructions, reduce installation time and labor costs, and enable them to switch from traditional geosynthetics to innovative and high-tech and, as a result, to reduce costs of participation in various projects.

GEOCORD™

Innovative three-dimensional polymer cell GEOCORD™ is made of innovative polymer stripes arranged in several rows and interconnected with each other in a staggered order along stripes with the possibility - when stretched in a direction normal to their surface - of a cellular structure formation. The cellular confinement system differs from the analogues in the fact that its stripes are strengthened with extra high reinforcing fibers longitudinally - what not only helps to reduce strip thickness without degrading physical and mechanical characteristics, but also provides additional strength margin and resistance to plastic deformation of cells under continuous load stress.

GEOSTEP™

Weld-free three-dimensional cell GEOSTEP™ represents a concept of a completely new solution to soil stabilization on the slopes. GEOSTEP™ is made of polymeric strips with longitudinal cuts ending with oblong holes. These cuts are performed in such a way that when stretched on a slope the cellular construction can be filled with fractionated or granular materials. The design is the intellectual property of PRESTORUS.

Standard Geocells

PPR

PPR is a standard geocell cellular confinement system made of polymeric tapes interconnected with each other by linear seams in a staggered order. PPR is made of high-density polyethylene or its components and is shaped as sections of a certain size.

Filler Materials and Construction Accessories

Cellular confinement systems consist of a number of sections (cells) typically filled with sandy or gravelly material, however, the infill may be rock, concrete and others depending on the application.


Cellular confinement systems are easy to install and do not require skilled labour.

Flexible concrete slab GEOSOTY™

Flexible concrete slab GEOSOTY™ is designed for protection of building structures (oil and gas pipelines, hydraulic structures and bank slopes) in oil and gas, transport and other construction industries. Flexible concrete slab GEOSOTY™ combines such qualities as flexibility and resistibility. This makes it possible to use the bay for reinforcement of camber surfaces as well as in complex permafrost conditions. Additional reinforcement with the use of a polyamide cord allows construction strengthening as well as guarantees strapping and binding of the slab.

Geotextile

Non-woven geotextile GEOKNIT™

Geotextile is designed for arrangement of layers for various purposes (drainage, filtration, protection, reinforcement) in ground structures in transport construction, in construction, repair and reconstruction of on-site roads, airfields, sports sites, etc. In particular, geotextile is designed for pavement reinforcement, construction on weak grounds, construction under increased soil moisture, slope protection, surface drainage and drainage operational reliability maintenance.
